3 Reasons Your Business Could Benefit from an Upholstery Spruce Up

Would this office inspire your employees or your clients?

You may not realise the benefits of upholstery (or reupholstery) in your business. It may initially seem like an extravagant outlay of funds. There are however, very valid reasons to 'upgrade' your business with upholstery and maybe a few other changes - such as paint and furniture rearrangement.

1 - Update a tired style
Many offices have been in business for a long time; worn carpet, 80's chairs and dull paint do not make a welcoming impression on your clients (and employees). By bringing a new colour on the walls and some interesting and hard wearing fabric for furniture, the whole business will feel refreshed and modernised.

2 - Adapt to the needs of the business
Hopefully if the plan has succeeded your business has expanded and now you need to cater for more clients coming through the door and more staff in the back. This means that you may need to rearrange furniture to facilitate communication between individuals and departments. It's common to have break out rooms or other communal spaces for exchanging ideas. A well designed environment does help productivity and being comfortable is a big part of it.
What a great first impression!

3 - Avoid the costly move
If you have been considering a move, then maybe there is a way to delay the move, or avoid it altogether. Rearranging furniture, updating what you have, and including some well thought out pieces might in fact save you a lot of headaches.
Moving to a new location is costly - not only from the costs of moving and set up, but also from productivity of your team.

The environment that you work in, impacts everyone - clients and employees. Upholstery can play a part in making not only a great first impression, but also increase the satisfaction level from your employees. Have you ever worked in a business where the furniture was uncomfortable and miserable looking? How did that make you feel? What is the furniture in your office saying to your employees and your clients?
